Heritage Field at Former Site of Yankee Stadium

Sited on the former Yankee stadium site, Heritage field pays tribute to the team legacy as of NYC’s most revered and historic parks. EGG electric was selected by Turner Construction as the electrical subcontractor for the entire park, and installed the underground power, park street lamps and feature lighting. Our work also included a new service to power the park, running from a new vault into a dedicated electric room, configured and installed by EGG. Most importantly, EGG furnished the towering baseball field lighting that allows local and little league teams the chance to play on the same ground as the game’s greats. Heritage field features three baseball fields, as well as recreation zones and a central comfort station, all supplied by power and communications conduits installed by our team.

The vast size of the site posed a challenge for EGG to overcome, and required CAD based layout to handle and set the many concrete access boxes within the park. Our field electricians used their full capabilities for an installation that exceed city standards, and live up to the special status of the ball field. From the scoreboards we furnished to the parkside vendor’s power, EGG electric is proud to have played a part in the reincarnation of this cherished American space.

Noteworthy:

Despite their height, EGG erected all ball field lighting in less than 1 weekend- through clockwork planned staging!
