EGG Electric is looking to hire a talented project engineer to coordinate on institutional projects within the Tri State Area.

 

PROJECT ENGINEER

Mid-level Coordinating Project Engineer needed for Fast Paced Electrical Contractor, building high profile Commercial & Institutional the NYC Metro Area; Current roster of Active Clients Serviced includes Facebook, Google, Youtube, Friends of the Highline and the City of New York.

Duties

— Preparing dimensioned Shop Drawings for Field Use in Constructing Electrical Installation;

—  Coordinating Electrical installations with other building trades;

—  Reviewing and advising on spatial aspects of electrical components, and laying out future installations;

 

Skills

— Must be professionally fluent in AutoCAD 2018;

— Must be able to create dimensioned construction drawings/shop drawings from scratch, with no oversight or assistance from a Senior Engineer;

— Must be able to read and understand construction drawings and blueprints;

— Must be a self motivated and responsible for work;

— Experience with AutoCAD 3d is preferred;

— Experience with BIM/NavisWorks/Construction Coordination is preferred;

— Experience with Electrical Construction / with an electrical contractor  is a plus;

— Project Management experience a plus;

 

Location

— Midtown, Manhattan, New York City.

 

Position is growth track, with opportunity for advancement in Engineering, Project Management or Project Administration roles;

 

Salary is negotiable, and commensurate with experience.
